Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa Island Development Project
Located on Thilamaafushi Island in Lhaviyani Atoll, the Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa development combines land villas, overwater villas, public hospitality buildings, staff accommodation, operational facilities and island infrastructure within one integrated resort masterplan. The island covers approximately 10 hectares and is located around 122 km from Velana International Airport, with access taking approximately 35 minutes by seaplane. Its remote location required coordinated marine transportation, temporary unloading facilities, prefabricated structural components and carefully sequenced on-site construction. The project record covers the full island development process from surveying, temporary quarters and material unloading to land villa construction, overwater structures, restaurants, swimming pools, spa facilities, staff buildings, utility systems, landscaping and final resort completion.
